Letter from the Chair

Dear Classmates of CHS ’69,

Happy 2009! It’s great to welcome the New Year and join in the planning of our 40th Reunion! It’s hard to believe that we all attended Centralia High School and most of us graduated in 1969! Time has flown so quickly!

Our years were very amazing, challenging and fun for us. We entered in August 1965 and graduated in June 1969, bearing witness to many national events that impacted us all. We made it through Miss Peterson’s English classes, dissecting frogs, participating or attending those talent nights, supporting our beloved Orphans in many games, experiencing Miss McCullough’s history classes; we even made it through homemaking and shop classes, and girls finally getting to wear culottes! There are many more memories – some good, some not so good. They all impacted us.

Now, we are planning our 40th reunion and look forward to as many of us to return as possible. While we want to spend time remembering some of our days together, we mostly we want to spend time learning what we are doing, learning what’s important to each of us and learning more about our perspectives on our lives. Reminisce with friends and spend time with other classmates.
